A new academic building at Cooper Union.  I find the drawing more interesting than the exterior view (can’t tell if its a photo or rendering).  Section is actually similar to San Francisco courthouse project.

The project is by Morphosis, an LA firm.  There is also a Gwathmey Siegel condo around the block, which is arguably more in the tradition of the Cooper Union School of Architecture.   First impression is the construction doesn’t seem as compelling as the renderings that were previously published.
